Naked
Did you ever get the felling you’re being followed?
Today, in my music shuffle, I bumped onto the song S.A.L.T. by the Orb. Great song that I attached here.
I knew this song way before I saw the movie Naked (1993) by Mike Leigh. I always was strangely attracted to it. It’s hypnotic in a way. Parts of the song are burned in my brain. The song didn’t make sense at the time. It just sounded insane, and insane is good!
A few years later, when I actually saw Naked, I immediately recognized the speech. Eureka!
Leigh is mostly known for his English orientated social drama’s, and I believe we can say Naked is one of his best. The movie is about a guy, you can say he’s a street philosopher, preaching to the world. Crazy shit. The content of the song is one of his speeches. Good stuff.
