A movie blog. Searching for the thrill I first experienced when I saw Magnolia by P.T. Anderson. I'll try to review every movie I see, good or bad, and top that with some other movie related stuff.
Funny, we were just discussion Tom Cruise’s role in Magnolia at the coffee machine! One of the only roles he truly shines / makes a difference / exceeds himself. I can’t wait to see Magnolia again actually, but there’s a chronic lack of lime lately :/

In search of Magnolia?
I’m talking about Magnolia, the movie by P.T. Anderson.
I believe this is one of the best flicks ever made. In fact, this movie turned me into a movie buff. I’ve always liked watching films, but seeing Magnolia changed something, permanently!
The best thing about Magnolia is how it surprised me. Blew me away, over and over again. And this is something rare in movies I’m afraid. Lot’s of good stuff, even great but brilliance doesn’t occur much. Magnolia is brilliant!
So I’m searching for stuff that surprise me like Magnolia did.
This blog is going to be my über light weight movie blog (hence Tumblr). I’ll post about the movies I see, and how I appreciate them.
And sure, I will keep on praising Magnolia from time to time. And the other Anderson movies, he’s in my mind the greatest contemporary director.
